Eskom has implemented stage 1 load shedding for Saturday, December 8.
According to Eskom they want to build reserves for the week ahead and give maintenance teams space to bring generating units back online.
The schedule for Kempton Park is:
10am to 1pm: Bredell, Pomona, Glen Marais Extensions (49, 52, 89 & 98), Serengeti, Brentwood Park, Aston Manor, Nimrod Park, Parts of Kempton Park Ext 2 & Ext 4
12.30pm to 3.30pm: Kempton Park CBD, Kempton Park Extensions, Croydon, Cresslawn, Rhodesfield, Kelvin Estate and Esther Park
3pm to 6pm: Birchleigh, Birchleigh North, Glen Erasmia, Kaalfontein, Esselen Park and Esselen Park Extensions
5.30pm to 8.30pm: Geyser ripple control
8pm to 10pm: Glen Marais, Allen Grove, Norkem Park, Birchleigh Extensions and Bonaero Park
