Maranatha matrics boast 100% pass rate

Tegan tops the list with six distinctions

The 2018 matric class of Maranatha Christian School obtained a 100% pass rate.

The 52 learners who wrote the National Senior Certificate Examination obtained 63 distinctions among them with a 98% university exemption rate.

Tegan Butrimavicius was her school’s top achiever with six distinctions (English, Afrikaans, life orientation, EGD, life sciences and physical sciences).

Chrisinde Pereira obtained five distinctions (English, Afrikaans, life orientation, life sciences and physical sciences).

Nikita Martins (Afrikaans, life orientation, accountancy and computer applications technology) and Kamohelo Mashigo (Afrikaans, life orientation, life sciences and physical sciences) obtained four As each.
