Local police are still searching for a missing woman last seen in Pomona on Monday evening.

According to the SA Community Crime Watch (SACCW), 49-year-old mother Magda Botha left her home at around 8.45pm to buy medicine for a headache at Brentwood Pharmacy.

The pharmacy is on Great North Road, Benoni, and closes at 9pm. It is not clear if Botha reached the pharmacy.

Botha was driving a white Renault Sandero (registration CT86KDGP) at the time. Kempton Park SAPS confirmed on Wednesday morning that the car had also not been found.

A flyer circulated by SACCW describes Botha as tall and slender. She has black hair, green eyes and a tribal tattoo on her lower back.

On her Facebook, Botha’s bio is “my husband and son make my life worth living”.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts can contact 084 436 1272 or 071 578 7472.
