Career expo to be hosted at Greenstone Mall this weekend
The event is free of charge and will be open from 9am until 5pm on both days.

The High School Career Expo, in association with SABC Education, will be at Greenstone Mall on January 25 and 26.
The exhibition is designed to provide both primary and middle school students with opportunities and guidance for choosing a high school and selecting their subjects.
For the older teenagers the expo is also designed to assist and equip the youth with the necessary tools to succeed in high school, tertiary education and beyond.

It targets thousands of young individuals from all walks of life as well as their parents, education institutions, private sector businesses and even government officials.
All primary, middle and high school kids and parents can learn more about public and private high schools including special programmes, extra-curricular activities and admissions criteria. You can find out which high school is most suitable for your child’s future.
Prospective students will be able to meet with representatives from a wide range of universities, technikons, colleges and other tertiary institutions. They will also gain insight and career advice from leading field specialists to better understand the expectations and roles of their potential professions.
The student expo aims to feed students with valuable knowledge to make educated decisions regarding their future through discussions and presentations. Students can also learn how to secure student loans and even bursaries.
They will get advice on how to manage finances when living away from home, should you take a gap year or not as well as share information with other school leavers and parents.
There will be live talks and interactive programmes.
