DA encourages students to vote

The DA encouraged the students of EWC to register to vote and reminded them the future of the country was in their hands.

The DA visited Ekurhuleni West College (EWC) on January 15 to encourage and assist students to register for the upcoming elections.

Present were the DA Team One SA spokesperson, Phumzile Van Damme, Team One SA spokesperson for students Yusuf Cassim and Team One SA spokesperson for youth Luyolo Mphithi.

In the short time spent at EWC, Cassim said they had interacted with over 100 students.

“The students’ reception has been really warm, you can just see they are hungry for change,” said van Damme. “We are here to tackle the issues of the students, which include transport, accommodation and funding.”
