Elderly in ward 91 urged to join golden oldies group
There are some amazing and exciting plans for 2019 and they do not want anyone to be left out

Then why not join the golden oldies community of this ward?
“There are some amazing and exciting plans for 2019 and we do not want anyone to be left out.
“We encourage the elderly in this ward to step out and connect with others,” said Martie Wallace, who is involved with the project.The aged and disability portfolio committee of Ward 91 organised a Christmas party in December which was attended by 15 aged members of the community.
“The event came about as a result of the understanding that the older people in the community are left out and it is important to celebrate them. Sponsors came on board to make the event a great success,” said Wallace.
“We would like to invite many more oldies to join us.”
