P91 accident: Jaws-of-life used to rescue two
One vehicle had a male driver only and the other two female occupants, the driver and a front-seat passenger.
Three people had to be rescued from the wrecks of their cars using the jaws-of-life after an accident on the P91 on Thursday afternoon.
According to William Ntladi, spokesperson for Ekurhuleni Emergency Services, Kempton Park Fire Station received a call about the accident near the intersection of Koedoe Street in Birchleigh at 12.28pm.
Two cars were involved in the crash. One vehicle had a male driver only and the other two female occupants, the driver and a front-seat passenger.

Ntladi said the male driver was trapped and rescuers had to use the jaws-of-life to free him from the wreck. He was transported to Tembisa Hospital.
The passenger from the second vehicle was also rescued using the jaws-of-life before being transported by ambulance to Sunning Hill Hospital for further medical care.
The female driver was taken to Arwyp for medical treatment.
Ntladi said the cause of the accident was not known and was being investigated by the metro police.
