Solid Foundations tops in Olympiads

Conquesta had about 900 schools participating in the 2018 Olympiads.

Learners from Solid Foundations Primary School placed in the top 20 schools in the annual Conquesta Olympiads.

These are a series of examinations set by a private organisation (Conquesta) to gauge the level of a school’s performance against other participating schools.

Conquesta had about 900 schools participating in the 2018 Olympiads from South Africa, Namibia, Swaziland and Botswana.

Solid Foundations Primary School was awarded with a certificate for a placement in the top 20 school selections.

Solid Foundations achieved the following results:

Mathematics paper 2, Grade Five (first); mathematics paper 2, Grade Six (third); mathematics paper 1, Grade Seven (17th); natural sciences and technology, Grade Five (ninth); natural sciences and technology, Grade Six (eighth); natural sciences, Grade Seven (third); social sciences, Grade Five (first); social sciences, Grade Six (fourth); social sciences, Grade Seven (second) and English, Grade Seven (ninth).
