Change the heart of the city with MES this February

Whether you give donations or your time, MES is always looking for a little bit of love.

Kempton Park shelter Mould Empower Serve (MES) hopes to change the heart of the city, and in this Month of Love, Kemptonians can lend a loving hand.

“At MES there are many platforms to demonstrate love in a practical way,” said Aloma Swanepoel.

Locals looking to show some love can volunteer at the canteen or street outreaches. MES also invites people to donate clothes or non-perishable items for food parcels or to become a monthly R100-donor.

Residents can sponsor a meal voucher for R5, shelter for R16 or a four-hour shift at GROW Job Rehabilitation Programme for R250. This programme also needs a donation of protective gear.

Golfers can participate in MES’ golf day on May 17. A fourball costs R1 800.
