Zamokuhle Hospital invites pregnant women to health talks
There will be specialists to answer questions about certain conditions
Zamokuhle Private Hospital will host a pregnancy awareness open day on February 23 in its lecture hall at 128 Flint Mazibuko Street, Hospital View, Tembisa.
Nobuhle Linda, the organiser, said they are hosting this session because February is a month of pregnancy awareness.
“We invite all pregnant women of the community at large to join us. We will be there educating them about pregnancy dangers and health-related issues, for example clotting,” said Linda.
“There will be specialists to answer questions about certain conditions, as women face different challenges when they are pregnant and after birth.”
The specialists will include gynaecologists/obstetricians, paediatricians, dieticians, physiotherapists, audiologists, midwives and ophthalmologists.
