Local eSport team does their bit by donating blood

This won't be the last time that the team donates, and they hope to motivate more people to do the same.

A local eSports team doesn’t play around when it comes to saving lives.

Team Zigon members Micaela How, Philip and Taydn Guest spent their Friday afternoon, on January 28, donating blood at the Kempton Park South African National Blood Service centre in Central Avenue.

According to team captain How, this won’t be the last time they donate.

“We hope to do it on a regular basis,” she told Express. “One donation can save up to three lives.”Team Zigon also hopes to host a blood drive in the near future, where community members will show their support. Readers can keep an eye on their Facebook page Zigon Esports for further details.
