On March 19 two Tembisa lads will be flying to Seychelles to represent South Africa at a world poetry day event.

“We are happy that we will be exhibiting our work on a world stage. We will share great African content that is found in South Africa,” said Langa.

The two Tembisa poets are facing a challenge in financing their trip.

“We appeal for sponsorship so we can be able to pay for our tickets. We also want partnerships with local brands so that we can put them on the world stage.

“Designers can use this opportunity to reach out to international markets,” said the two artists.

They hope to bring back more opportunities to local entrepreneurs and develop more poets on their return.

Good Samaritans and potential partners can call the artists on 083 312 4031 or 062 150 5471.
