Highlands Park FC donates to Ingqayizivele High School
Highlands Park FC lends a helping hand to advance education.
On March 5, Highlands Park FC donated stationery and other basic needs to Ingqayizivele High School.
The club’s director and shareholder Sinky Mnisi said they are trying their best as a team to assist where they can.
“We hope and trust that this will make a difference and that these children will be inspired by what we are trying to do.
“This was a token of appreciation to the community of Tembisa as we are a team that is based in Tembisa.
“We hope to do something more going forward in the future,” said Mnisi.
The team’s coach, Owen da Gama, advised learners to have respect for their teachers and parents at home.

“Charity begins at home. If you have respect at home you will be very fortunate in life.
“Doors will open up and everything will work well for you,” da Gama told the learners.
He added that as a team they came to the school in their own accord with open hearts to touch the learners’ lives in a positive way.
The school’s principal, Mogobe Maebela, expressed gratitude for the donations made by Highlands Park FC.
“The school is underprivileged and we don’t have resources.
“We help the children by taking from our own pockets as educators.
“We wish such donations could continue because now the learners are happy,” said Maebela.
He said in terms of performance the school has been doing very well over the years which is what sparked interest from donors.
