Nominations open for two Ward 91 committee vacancies
Elections will take place on April 2 at the Coen Scholtz Community Hall.
The nomination process for the re-election of Ward 91 committee members will be open from March 11 until March 22.
Residents from Birchleigh North, Norkem Park, Kaalfontein informal settlement, Glen Erasmia and Glen Eagles are urged to nominate and register candidates for the position of environmental development committee member and faith-based organisations’ committee member.
Nomination forms are available at the Kempton Park Customer Care Centre, libraries and the Kempton Park public participation offices. After completion, the form must be submitted to the public participation offices.
Nominees must be South African citizens that are at least 18-years-old, are registered to vote in their particular ward, have no criminal convictions and do not owe money for municipal services.
Elections for these positions will take place on April 2, at the Coen Scholtz Community Hall at 6pm.
