Cell C donates food to Kempton Park SPCA

“We encourage our employees and the Kempton Park community to give what they can.”

Cell C has reached out to Kempton Park SPCA, which is in desperate need for provisions for the animals in its care.

According to the centre’s head, Kira Sparrow, the shelter had an influx of animals in March and dog and cat food was in very short supply.

After being alerted to the SPCA’s plight in Kempton Express, Cell C has donated a variety of cat and dog food as part of its ongoing Cell C Kindness initiative.

“We’re hoping this donation makes a difference to the animals and provides some relief to the SPCA,” says Suzette van der Merwe, Cell C’s managing executive for corporate social investment.

“We encourage our employees and the Kempton Park community to give what they can to help ensure the animals are tended to and well fed,” she says.
