Two killed in accident on Allandale Road on Saturday
Two men in the car sustained moderate injuries
A man and woman were killed and two others injured in an accident on Alllandale Road on Saturday around noon.
According to Shawn Herbst, spokesperson for Netcare 911, the SUV in which the deceased travelled rolled several times after being involved in a collision with a car.
Herbst said the accident occurred in the direction of Midrand.
Fire and rescue services had to use the Jaws of Life to free the occupants from the SUV. Sadly both sustained fatal injuries and were declared dead on the scene.
Two men in the car sustained moderate injuries and once treated were transported by ambulance to hospital for further treatment.
