Boyboy Itumeleng Motloung, MACHF secretary, said the event, however, was a success in the sense that a platform was created for young and emerging artists to showcase their artistic and cultural talents to its fullest potential.

“The community had an opportunity to enjoy, appreciate and learn about arts and culture. Young up-and-coming artists were empowered and equipped with knowledge, skills and expertise to become professional arts practitioners.

“At the same time, the unemployed local arts and cultural practitioners were provided with some employment opportunities as project facilitators and adjudicators,” said Motloung.

Winners of the MACHF in all categories of both music and dance competitions celebrate their win with their trophies.
