Norkem Park Primary School’s 15 000 eggs bring Easter joy to many

This year learners collected 15 028 marshmallow eggs.

For many years now learners at Norkem Park Primary School have embarked on their Easter egg drive, and this year is no exception.

This year learners collected 15 028 marshmallow eggs.

These eggs are packaged with a card and distributed to the elderly and underprivileged children.

Kaiyur Naidoo collected the most eggs for the school, bringing in 888 eggs, while Maleqhwa Lehloenya came second with 346 eggs.

The specially packed Easter egg packages were distributed to: John Wesley Child Care Centre, Tembisa Child and Family Welfare, Casa Caritas, Kids Haven, Little Eden, Marmanet, Stepping Stones Nursery School, Meals on Wheels Benoni, Meals on Wheels Pretoria, Avril Elizabeth Home, Herfsland, Pinocchio (Edenvale Child Welfare), Oliver’s Village, Ryan Park 1, Allen Park, Epworth Children’s Village, John Mashala (Ikhaya Lothando) and Child Welfare Kempton Park.
