Taxi and small truck collide on Andrew Mapheto Drive, five injured

Five people were injured in an accident between a taxi and a small truck on Andrew Mapheto Drive in Tembisa on Friday afternoon.

Shawn Herbst of Netcare 911 said the accident happened at around 3pm.

Five patients from the taxi were assessed by medics on scene and found to have sustained minor injuries.

The patients were treated on scene and, once stabilised, transported by ambulance to hospital for further treatment.
