Successful business seminar hosted in Ivory Park
Skills development seminars at Ivory Park North Hall on April 13 to impact knowledge on entrepreneurship development.
Destiny to Impact, a business leadership entity, hosted a skills development seminar at Ivory Park Community North Hall in Tembisa on April 13.
The seminar was aimed at empowering young business people into being skilled entrepreneurs. The seminar also featured Akani Nkuna, who is an entrepreneur, and Lorraine Nobela, an Independent economist, as guest speakers.
Developing interpersonal and outstanding leadership skills were some of the topics tackled on the day. The seminar was attended by participants from various parts of the country, including Limpopo and Soweto, among others.
Miyelani ‘Zoe’ Hanyane, founder of Destiny to Impact, said the aim of the seminar was to inspire young people to become good entrepreneurs.
“We wanted to teach and coach young people how to conduct themselves with clients during interviews and to develop leadership and interpersonal skills which are essential to the business world,” said Hanyane.
