Christian Family Church donates to Moduopo Primary School
Church blesses learners on market day at Moduopo Primary School.

Moduopo Primary School in Umfuyaneni Section welcomed the donation of 42 school uniforms from Christian Family Church on September 10.
The church has been involved in numerous projects around Tembisa. Thirty-four groups currently assist in Kempton Park, Tembisa and Edenvale, among other places.
The church also donated school shoes and schools bags, while some were lucky enough to receive a full uniform.
Past Fazel Bwatjies said teachers supplied them a list of the most needy children.
“It is all about taking away the load from parents who are not in a position to give their child a proper uniform,” said André Campbell, senior manager.

“In Kempton Park we feed children at two schools daily, made possible by our welfare department,” added Campbell.
On the same day the school hosted its market day. This is a Grade Seven fund-raising event whereby the three Grade Seven classes set up stalls and sell products to fellow learners to raise funds for their farewell.
Bongani Tshabalala, the event co-coordinator, said this is an annual event.
“The school opens its gates to all community members to support them by buying products. This event promotes entrepreneurship as well,” said Tshabalala.
“The school also runs a feeding scheme by providing breakfast and lunch to needy children. The National School Nutrition Programme, supported by the education department, sponsored our kitchen team with aprons a week or so ago,” added Tshabalala.
