Nobuzwe appeals to public for donations to aid the needy

Nobuzwe Matshoba is in need of food donations for vagrants as part of her weekly programme for ministering to the needy in the community.

The Kemptonian runs a weekly programme that seeks to make food donations to the homeless in the CBD to meet the increasing demand for food aid amid the pandemic.

“These people are living in poverty and barely make ends meet. They are uncertain of where their next meal will be coming from. That’s where we step in,” said Matshoba.

Matshoba has a shortfall in her budgetary allocation for food in these coming months with no government funding or solid assistance.

Her sponsors simply cannot keep up with the increasing demand in the area.

“It breaks my heart to be eating while knowing there is an individual with no food.

“I would like to thank the people who help me cook and serve the meals,” said Matshoba.

Matshoba is inviting the public to make small contributions in order to make a make a big difference in the cause.
