Business owners talk about their preferred choice of location – Kempton Park
Business owners and residents have their say about why they enjoy serving the community of Kempton Park and why they prefer doing business in the area.
The manager at a bed and mattress shop at the Aston Manor Centre, Gavin Bradley, said businesses should grab every opportunity to host a festive market day. This will draw customers to their shops where they can better showcase their products. “People love music and a good atmosphere. In business I also follow up with my customers after a sale to ensure their satisfaction.”
Percy Gweshe, a computer repair technician in Glen Marais, believes business is stimulated when the importance of customer satisfaction enjoys top priority. “You want to ensure the customer comes back and refer more business to your service,” he told Express.
A customer at a diner in Aston Manor, Ted Patterson, told Express the key to a stimulated local economy is patience within a business and that charity starts at home. “It's important to support the community, not only financially, but personally and for businesses to build on constructive criticism. A free bottle of Jameson won't hurt either,” he joked.
These employees of a baking supply shop located on Monument Road are in the service of owner and manager, respectively, Rina Medina-Garay and Tini Entres. They believe what ensures the growth of any local business is great service and employees who shake their tale feathers to go the extra mile for customers. “Customers are worth gold and should be treated as such,” said Rina.
