The body of a baby boy was found inside a rubbish bin in Kempstar Mall by security personnel on October 20.
According to Sgt Dipuo Ditshego, spokesperson for Kempton Park SAPS, police were summoned to the scene.
On arrival, they were approached by a security officer who informed them that he had found a black plastic bag that contained what looked like a baby inside a rubbish bin.
“The paramedics were called and the baby was declared dead. The body was taken to Germiston Mortuary,” said Ditshego.
