Man airlifted after Glen Marais crash

A man was airlifted to hospital following a collision on Wednesday morning in Glen Marais, Kempton Park.

Shawn Herbst from Netcare 911 said at about 4am paramedics responded to reports of a collision on the R21 South bound.

“Reports from the scene indicated that two heavy motor vehicles were involved in a collision resulting in one of the trucks leaving the road,” said Herbst.

A man who had sustained serious injuries was treated on scene and then airlifted to hospital for further treatment.
