Murder case against Mosa Ntsibande postponed

The man accused of the murder of Hlengiwe Msimago made a brief court appearance yesterday in the Kempton Park Magistrate's Court.

The man accused of the murder of Hlengiwe Msimago made a brief court appearance yesterday in the Kempton Park Magistrate’s Court.

The case against Mosa Ntsibande was postponed to February 3.

The case was postponed for further investigations and the court also awaiting post-mortem results. Msimango was shot and killed at her Birch Acres home on August 3.

Ntsibande told police he thought Msimago was an intruder in their house at the time of the shooting.

The accused remained in custody until he obtained new legal representative who assisted him to apply for bail despite his initial decision to abandon the bail application.

Ntsibande was granted R10 000 bail on October 9, with the court imposing certain conditions to the bail release.
