Shangri-La School hosts honours ceremony for secondary school

Shangri-La School held a honours ceremony for its secondary school recently.

Top learner achievements, in addition to the academy’s prefects and head prefects, were announced.

The prefects for 2021 are Brianagh Stappard (head girl), Melissa Fairhurst, Jaimie Kitchener, Nwabisa Tantsi, Mr Jones (principal of the secondary school), Schweta Ramjattan, Nonja Hadebe, Kirstin Delport and Tyler Ginn (head boy. Back: Ethan Smallwood, Adheer Dhanasir, Dean Gibson, Amahle Dhladhla, Shaariq Khan, Robin Beach and Itumeleng Malapela.
The Grade Nine Headmaster’s trophy was bagged by Neha Gewanlal.
Marli Pelzer walked home with the Victrix Ludorum Athletics trophy.
Fabio de Klerk showed sheer pride in taking home the Victor Ludorum Athletics trophy on November 25 at Shangri-La’s honours evening.
