Community members enjoy market

Besides browsing the wares and products offered by entrepreneurs community members could enjoy being close to nature and the birdlife at the park.

The second Modderfontein Farmers’ Market since the easing of Covid-19 restrictions saw community members from far and wide come together for some family fun in Modderfontein.

Held at the Bird and Sculpture Park on November 28, the market gave those shopping an opportunity to get out the house and browse the wares on offer.

Community members could also enjoy being close to nature and the birdlife at the park.

The market was held between 9am and 2pm at the Sculpture Park located on Valley Road opposite the Flamingo Shopping Centre.

All proceeds go towards the upkeep and further development of the park.

In line with government regulations and Covid-19 protocols, masks were compulsory and social distancing, hand sanitising were promoted.
