Benoni Flying Squad (BFS) members arrested four suspects and recovered one motor vehicle related to Kempton Park and Thembisa cases during the weekend.
According to the BFS communications officer, WO Grant Giblin, two suspects were arrested.
“One suspect was arrested on Kerk Street in Kempton Park and another in Emangweni Section in Thembisa when found in possession of drugs.”
Crystal methamphetamine and Mandrax were confiscated.
“This was followed by two more arrests. One was in Winnie Mandela Zone 12 in Thembisa for common assault and another suspect was taken into custody on Voortrekker Road, Kempton Park, for driving under the influence of alcohol.”

A white Toyota bakkie found abandoned was also recovered from a Birchleigh residence.
The car had been reported stolen in a Brooklyn case.
“A white Toyota Fortuner reported hijacked in a Sandton case was also recovered.”
