Shangri-La Academy hosted its Senior Preparatory School Assembly on February 8 when history was made as Rorke Gaffney, a Grade Seven learner, was the first male recipient in the Senior Preparatory School to be awarded the prestigious cum laude blazer.

This blazer is awarded to those few learners who achieve full colours in academics, sports and culture and is the highest honour a learner at the academy can achieve.
