Mike Waters resigns

He thanked voters of Kempton Park and Edenvale for their support

Democratic Alliance MP Mike Waters shared a post on social media this afternoon, announcing his resignation.

“After 21 years, eight months and 17 days as a Member of Parliament and four-and-a-half years as a councillor, before that, I have decided to resign.

“I have had so many wonderful opportunities that I am  immensely grateful for. I want to thank the DP/DA for the opportunities afforded to me,” he stated.

He also thanked voters of Kempton Park and Edenvale for their support.

“Being a Member of Parliament has been the greatest honour of my life.”
