Shangri-La Academy again achieves outstanding results

Shangri-La Academy has achieved a 100 per cent matric pass rate since inception of the academy.

In addition to achieving a 100 per cent matric pass rate, Shangri-La Academy achieved a 100 per cent bachelor’s degree pass rate. This has been acknowledged in a letter signed by the CEO of the IEB, Anne Oberholzer, and sent to the academy in recognition of this exceptional performance.

“We are thrilled to once again achieve a 100 per cent matriculation pass rate and the fact that each learner attained a bachelor’s degree pass rate is a testament to the high standards and quality of education provided by the academy,” Mr Jones, principal of the high school, said.

Shangri-La Academy’s top learners were Cailin Mason and Tristyn Khan who each bagged four distinctions. Cailin achieved distinctions in Afrikaans first additional language, business studies, life orientation and mathematical literacy.

Tristyn obtained distinctions in Afrikaans first additional language, business studies, life orientation and life sciences. Learners who achieved three distinctions were Kiara Chinnasamy, Julie-Leigh Fourie, Joy Kekana, Ntando Moloi, Megan Otto and Kirstin Witney. Shangri-La Academy has achieved a 100 per cent matric pass rate since opening its doors.
