NPO TOP Dogs peddled their paws through Arwyp

If members of the public would like to volunteer at TOP Dogs, read more to find out how to join.

Team members from the NPO, Top Dogs, visited Arwyp Hospital on March 11. They handed over care hampers to the Covid-ICU staff.

Valerie Riekert from the East Rand team said: “Our token of appreciation serves as a symbol that we are here to support one another during these challenging times.” Riekert added that their therapy dog teams paid regular visits to Arwyp before Covid-19 and are hoping to commence with visits soon.

Top Dogs is a voluntary organisation, which pays formal and informal visits to various facilities, such as physical rehabilitation hospitals, frail care, hospice and children homes, to name a few.
