Edenvale Hospital appeals for assistance identifying body
“The body is yet to be claimed and we have tried with no success to find a next of kin.”
Edenvale Regional Hospital appealed to the community for assistance in identifying the body of a man who has been in the hospital’s morgue since February 25.
Communications manager for the Gauteng Department of Health Thabile Mnguni said the man is believed to be from Barcelona informal settlement with no definite address.
“The body is yet to be claimed and we have tried with no success to find a next of kin.”

She said the deceased’s name is believed to be Siyabonga Mngomezulu, and at the time of death it was estimated he was 46 years old. Mnguni said he died on February 25.
