Frank and Beulah celebrate 65 years
The couple got married in 1956 at the Methodist Church on Main Road in Sea Point and then settled in Port Elizabeth.
Frank and Beulah Albrecht from Kempton Park celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on April 5. The couple got married in 1956 at the Methodist Church on Main Road in Sea Point and then settled in Port Elizabeth.
In 1961 Frank was transferred to the Railway College in Esselen Park and the couple moved into their home on Firefly Street in Rhodesfield in 1964. The couple’s three children attended Kempton Park Primary School and Sir Pierre van Ryneveld High School. Beulah was actively involved with school activities, including cake sales, annual school fête fund-raisers and manning the school tuck shop.

When their children left home, the couple purchased a hardware store in George in 1993 and returned to Kempton Park in 2012 to join their youngest son, Richard, and his family on their five-acre property in Bredell.
Beulah is a member of a knitting group and Frank enjoys spending time in his workshop.
