Zinhle shows her adventurous side in Safari edition
Zinhle rates the Colours Fitness season four as her favourite to date, as a result of the tranquillity at the Aquila Private Game Reserve.

Birch Acres’ very own life coach Zinhle Masango has done it again. This time the 28-year-old featured in the Colours Show Fitness Safari Edition that aired until the end of March.
The fourth season was filmed at the Aquila Private Game Reserve.
This time around Zinhle was not focusing only on fitness, but she was providing the viewers with her expertise on nutrition.
“I am a qualified nutritionist with vast experience in exercise from my bodybuilding days. Throughout the shows we drop ‘nuggets’ and tips on nutrition and exercise,” she said.
Zinhle’s dream to expand her brand had always motivated her to attend culinary school. However, she opted to study life coaching as a result of an incident she encountered during the lockdown.
“I care for the mental wellness of my online community and through life coaching, I can do so. Many people were struggling with mental, physical and financial wellness throughout lockdown and I saw a ‘gap’ in the market and decided to fill it.”
When it comes to the intense lockdown restrictions, her passion for body training enabled her to adjust to regular home training. This versatile fitness trainer has recently rebranded from Fitness Junkie to Zee Fitness, which focuses on holistic wellness that combines physical, financial and life fitness.
For the latest fitness season, her focal point was callisthenics.

“So, Jay Life and I do bodyweight training this season. All our exercises were based on body weight. The viewers did not need any equipment to perform these exercises. The exercises were very beneficial because not everyone can afford gym memberships or equipment.”
The team showed the viewers how to train at the comfort of their own home homes, with no equipment but still breaking a sweat. When sharing her best moments of the fourth season’s filming, she continuously highlights the animals that were just out of reach during the shoot.
“Season four has to be my favourite to date; we were taken out of the studio and put in the wild. We had animals roaming around as we were shooting.”
For beginners who would like to kick off their fitness journey, her advice is to have a goal in place.
“When you have a goal that is specific and measurable it is so much easier to stick to it. Make sure your goal is attainable and realistic, most people try to go overboard and that’s why they fall off the wagon. “Lastly, make sure your goal is time-bound, this way there’s a measuring tool in place,” Zinhle said.
