BFS arrests suspect for possession of dagga at taxi rank

The suspect will appear in the Kempton Park Magistrate's Court to face charges of possession of drugs.

Benoni Flying Squad (BFS) members arrested one male suspect on April 28 for possession of drugs. According to WO Grant Giblin, the spokesperson for BFS, at 1pm members were patrolling the Kempton Park Taxi Rank in Pretoria Road on Wednesday when they noticed a suspicious-looking man.

“A search was conducted and in a black plastic bag, 17 matchboxes were found containing dagga. The man was arrested immediately and the drugs confiscated,” Giblin stated.

The suspect will appear in the Kempton Park Magistrate’s Court to face charges of possession of drugs.
