“Music has always been an interest of mine. Everyone used to tell me I had the best musical taste and always knew what to play when I was younger. So I took what I already knew about music and expanded on it so that I could share my passion for music with everyone.
“As a DJ, I take note of the crowd and try to gauge the atmosphere. My musical calling detects the dancers’ pulse then picks and modifies the tracks in real time in reaction to what the crowd is (unconsciously) telling me and where I’m taking them.
“My secondary outlet is production. I’ve always enjoyed music, and I’ve always enjoyed sharing it with others. I didn’t realise it at the time, but I had discovered my life’s purpose. I just want to give others the same feeling I get when I’m dancing and forgetting myself in the moment. It makes me so happy to see people get lost in the music,” said Lesh SA.
