Kempton Park SAPS members mourn two of its officers
“We shall continue in their memories to enhance our ability to stop crime and those who commit it,” said Manewa.
Kempton Park SAPS members held a moment of silence on July 1 for two officers, WO Mojela and mess personnel Madolo, who recently died.
According to the acting station commander, Col Lesetja Manewa, the two officers were individuals who dedicated their lives to the cause of safeguarding the Kempton Park community from harm.

“Even such dedicated individuals are taken from us unexpectedly. When such events occur, they pierce our hearts. It is with a deep sense of sorrow and pain, but also with pride, that we today bid and bestow upon them their final farewell and honour.
“As we pay respect to our colleagues, parents, brothers and sisters, we say to their families. Your anguish is the suffering of the Kempton Park community, your sorrow is our sadness. These tragedies have befallen all of our members and crushed our people.
“We mourn and honour these humble members, knowing that time heals all wounds. We pray that one day we will wake up comforted in the knowledge that more heroes will be born.
“We shall continue in their memories to enhance our ability to stop crime and those who commit it,” said Manewa.
