On July 18, officers arrested 12 drivers who were released on bail in Kempton Park Magistrate’s Court.

There were also arrests for possession of stolen property that was allegedly looted from malls in Rabie Ridge and Thembisa.
On July 17, a case of culpable homicide was opened after a minibus drove into a barrier on Munii Street, Birch Acres, which claimed the lives of four people.
