
Thembisa Youth carried the spirit of ubuntu during their 67 minutes for Nelson Mandela as Palesa Mailula initiated the 67 Steps of Legendary programme.
The Zitikeni Secondary School’s 2019 president of Representative Council of Learners (RCL) engaged with the youth to live up to the spirit of Madiba.
According to Mailula, the 67 Steps of Legendary programme was inspired by the former statesman while she was still a learner.

“This project started at Zitikeni, while I was RCL president,” said Mailula.
The 67 Steps of Legendary programme, in support of the Dipalesa Foundation, aims to collect masks.
“I am pleading with the community to donate masks, which will be donated to lesser privileged individuals. The focus is on homeless people. This is our July project so people have till month-end to donate.”
