Cubs learn skills as Modderfontein pack relaunches
"The recruits had an amazing time."
Modderfontein once again has a scouting presence after an absence for several decades.
The Cutty Sark Cub Pack held its first meeting on September 10 in Thornhill Estate’s Community Centre.
“The recruits had an amazing time,” said district commissioner of the Northrand District, Andrew Campbell.
“They learned how to pitch tents, the basics of lighting a fire safely and finished off the evening by scoffing marshmallows.”
