Donations made to SPCA
The Kempton Park SPCA appeals to members of the public for donations as they constantly need food and toys for the animals.
The Kempton Park SPCA received a donation of a bakkie load of food and pet accessories last Tuesday.
The generous donation was from donation House and Pet Sitting Connection and the owner, Dewald van Deventer, decided to make a big donation to Kempton Park SPCA to celebrate the company’s 11th birthday.
Van Deventer approached his clients as well as members of the public to help with the donations.

The donation included 200kg of dog and cat food, blankets and jerseys for the animals.
Kira Sparrow, manager at the Kempton Park SPCA said, “The animals need food all the time and more donations are needed as the effects of Covid-19 is now hitting the SPCA and animal lovers.”
Staff at the local SPCA and Amber, the Kempton Park SPCA mascot, inspected the donations and thanked van Deventer for all his work in gathering donations.
Van Deventer also mentioned that he was only able to make a monetary donation to the SPCA in 2019 but this time around he donated food and pet accessories as well.
Van Deventer and his clients thank the SPCA for the work they do to ensure that animals have a safe haven to go to.
