“My inspiration derives from the Bible and the personal devotion to restoring hope in the hopeless,” said Mashego.

Katleho began his official music career in 2017 and in 2019 he released his first five-song EP, Unashamed.

The project was well-received, with over 4 000 Facebook page likes, over 2 000 Instagram followers, and over 4 000 Twitter followers.

Mashego was nominated for Best Newcomer of the Year at the City Awards in 2020 and he placed second in the category.

His first-ever visuals were broadcast on Trace Gospel and One Gospel after the release of his Patience song video in 2020.

On November 6, 2020, Katleho published his second album, Then Jesus Came, which includes six inspirational songs.

Dimakatso, a gifted worshipper and Jimmy Landrose, one of Mzansi’s most-loved hip-hop musicians who recently took Mzansi by storm for rapping in seven official South African languages in one go, were featured in the scripture-based body of work.

He’s currently filming a music video for his EP’s second hit, Stars, which features Landrose and other surprise guests.
