Benoni Flying Squad arrested three suspects on October 22 for various crimes.
WO Grant Giblin, the spokesperson for BFS, said it was a successful day with three arrests being made.
“Members followed up information from crime intelligence that led to the arrest of two suspects being arrested in separate incidents at their residences in Kingsway, Benoni.
“Dagga over 1kg was confiscated in these incidents. In another incident, members on patrol on the corners of R562 and M57, Olifantsfontein noticed a white Nissan 1400 driving recklessly.
“Upon stopping the vehicle, the driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol and immediately arrested,” said Giblin.
The suspects will appear in the local magistrate’s courts on charges of possession and dealing in drugs and driving under the influence of alcohol.
All the incidents are still being investigated by officials.
