The Avion u-8 Impala 1 side took on rivals from Alberton.
Alberton won the toss and elected to field first.
Avion batted first, scoring 39 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs.
Alberton replied with 41 for the loss of one wicket in just nine overs, which resulted in a nine-wicket win for Alberton.
Le Roux was the batsman of the match with six runs, while the best Avion bowler for the day was Wihan, who took one wicket for one run in six balls.
Avion’s u-8 Impala 2 side took on Benoni Northerns.
Avion won the toss and chose to bowl first.

Benoni Northerns set up a batting score of 99 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs.
Avion replied with 81 runs all out, ensuring Benoni won the game by 18 runs.
Jodey Coertse was the cream of the batting crop with 24 runs, while teammate JayJay Bezuidenhout scored 12 runs not out.
Avan Faure was the games’ best Avion bowling with two wickets for a loss of three runs.
The Avion u-8 Carnival side faced Old Bens.
Old Bens won the toss and elected to field first.
Avion’s batting innings saw the team put up an unbeatable 124 runs without loss in 20 overs.
Old Bens replied with 90 for the loss of six in their 20 batting overs.

Juandre van Rensburg was the pick of the bowlers, with three wickets for the loss of one run.
Avion’s u-10 Impala 1 side hit the field with Benoni Northerns.
Benoni Northerns batted first and scored 116 runs all out.
In reply, Avion scored 117 for the loss of seven wickets in 21 overs.
Codey Sheehan scored 32 runs, while Marnus van Rooyen left the field with 25 runs not out.
The best bowlers for the day were Wian le Uys, who took three wickets for 13 runs in three overs, and Kai Muller, who took two wickets for 10 runs in two overs.
The Avion u-10 Impala 2 were next up and faced off against Etwatwa at Laerskool Brentwood Park.
Etwatwa won the toss and elected to bowl.

Avion scored 75 runs all out in 13 overs and Etwatwa replied with 69 all out in 18.3 overs.
The best batsman for the game was Rikardo Wills, who scored 23 runs off 22 balls.
He was also named Avion’s bolwer of the day, with four wickets for 11 runs in only four overs.
Avion’s u-10 Carnival side took on Alberton at Kruinsig and batted first, scoring 150 runs for the loss of three wickets.
Alberton replied with 151 also for the loss of three wickets in 17 overs.
Keegan Neveling and Luke Engelbrecht scored 29 runs not out with the bat, while Jarred Morley took two wickets for 24 runs in four overs.
The Avion u-12 Impala faced Benoni Northerns at the Benoni Northerns home ground.
Avion won the toss and elected to bowl first.
Benoni Northerns scored 141 runs for nine wickets in 25 overs, and Avion replied with 111 runs for the loss of eight wickets in 25 overs.
Quinton Smith scored 23 runs off 32 balls, while Dian scored 15 runs off 18 balls.
Ignus Botha took three wickets for 14 runs with the ball in five overs.
Avion’s u-14 Impala side faced Duduza.
Avion batted first and scored 125 runs for the loss of five wickets in 20 overs.
Duduza replied by raking up 127 runs for the loss of eight wickets in 20 overs.
Jaimi Coertse scored 58, while JP du Plessis left the field on 24 not out.
JP also took two wickets for 22 runs in three overs in his bowling innings.
