Stolen cables were discovered by Norkem Park SAPS following an anonymous tip-off.

Norkem Park SAPS spokesperson Sgt Barbara-Anne Ferreira said on December 11, the SAPS received information about suspected stolen power cables on Meeu Road, Birch Acres.
“On arrival, officers found 25m of cables valued at R25 000.
“Members from the cable theft unit assisted SAPS to identify the cables. The cables were taken to Norkem Park SAPS and will be handed to the owners. No arrest was made,” said Ferreira.
