GOTS hosts Christian chillas

GOTS hosts a Christian chillas.

Gathering Of The Saints (GOTS) hosted its annual Christian Chillas event recently.
The event encourages young people to gather and have fun without being intoxicated.
The event was hosted at HAYA Restaurant in Emfihlweni, Thembisa, and saw young people gather to share knowledge.
GOTS is an influential movement that seeks to contribute to solving socio-economic problems in the country and also promote a sober nation.
The event featured live band performances, poetry, rap and sharing of the Word of God.
Reggie Mashabela, GOTS chairperson, said the speaker of the day, Past Manuel Morwasehla, taught on the importance of having gratitude and always being thankful irrespective of the circumstances you may be experiencing in life.
“He emphasised the importance of knowing who you are, what you are capable of as an individual and how you need to actively work towards achieving your goals,” said Mashabela.
The chairperson of GOTS advised that more should be expected from the movement in the coming year as they plan on occupying, dominating and becoming agents of change in the community.
