ELBA hits the court on opening day

Hosted on January 15, the opening day saw the academy host six internal friendly games for its members.

After the festive season holidays, members of Edenvale Lions Basketball Academy (ELBA) were found at their home court sharpening their skills at the academy’s 2022 opening day.

Hosted on January 15, the opening day saw the academy host six internal friendly games for its members.

The first day of training of the year was a fun-filled day, as members of the academy retuned to the Edenvale Sports Grounds.

Results from the games are as follows:
• Game one: Simeon beat Teshlynn 24-10.
• Game two: Samu beat Benji 51-41.
• Game three: Simeon beat Teshlynn 22-20.
• Game four: Benji beat Samu 49-44.
• Game five: Simeon beat Teshlyn 24-18.
• Game six: Samu beat Benji 48-40.
