The two suspects are accused of robbing a man of his cellphone, cap and jacket at 23:00 on December 28.

The four suspects failed to realise the victim knew them because they lived in the same area where the robbery took place.

Col Baba Mpotoane, the Ivory Park SAPS acting station commander, commended the detectives keeping in touch with the victim and advising him on what to do if he sees the suspects.

“The open lines of communication paid off on Friday with the first suspect apprehended in Kaalfontein, followed by the second suspect’s capture on Sunday,” said Mpotoane.
